Our team inspects packaging integrity, confirms batch numbers, and records best-before dates (BBE) to maintain traceability and legal compliance, particularly for regulated or sensitive products. We also verify that tamper-evident seals are intact, and any product requiring special handling or temperature control is stored in suitable conditions. Once booked in, stock is immediately available for allocation or packing and is visible in real time through our online portal. Where required, we can update your website stock levels or inventory systems upon receipt of goods, ensuring your sales channels remain in sync with actual stock on hand.

Packing, Fulfilment & Shipping

Orders are picked using QR code scanning to ensure full traceability, including BBE and batch matching where needed. Goods are packed according to each client’s exact specifications—whether bulk packing for B2B distribution or individual items for B2C fulfilment. B2B orders are typically shipped in full cartons or master cartons, with pricing options available for either full case quantities or broken down into smaller units. Labelling is applied as per recipient requirements, and shipments can be booked in with delivery locations or retailers as necessary. For added security and proof of despatch, we can photograph packed orders prior to release and, for high-value or sensitive consignments, carry out packing under monitored CCTV. For B2C, we offer flexible packaging solutions—from simple plain bags or boxes to fully branded or customised packaging, including printed tapes or inserts. Orders are dispatched via tracked UK couriers with options for signed-for or special delivery, offering a seamless and secure end-to-end experience for both you and your customers.

BBE/Batch QR Coded Product Selection

Our advanced QR code picking system ensures exceptional accuracy when selecting goods, with each item scanned and verified against the correct SKU, batch number, and best-before date (BBE). This level of precision supports full traceability and enables swift, targeted recalls if ever required. The warehouse management system (WMS) automatically organises stock based on expiry dates, allowing us to identify and flag short-dated or out-of-date products instantly. Orders are picked according to pre-set rules—typically prioritising items with a minimum agreed shelf life—ensuring only compliant goods are shipped. For more specialised or regulated clients, the system also allows for custom batch selection, giving you complete control over which batches are picked for each order. Critically, the system will block any attempt to pick products that are expired or fall below the minimum shelf life threshold, ensuring that only suitable stock is dispatched and maintaining the integrity of your supply chain at all times.
